Mid-December Mayhem

January 1, 2014

I intended this post to be another two-weeker to cover the week before Christmas and the week of Christmas, but we have a small problem. The battery died in our camera late Christmas day and we can’t seem to locate the charger.  I’ve ordered a new one, but we can’t get the Christmas pictures off the camera until it arrives. So hopefully the next post will be a two-weeker. I’m also hoping it will feature original drawings from Jake.

So what happened in Mid-December? Well Jason went home, but before he did, we had one last day to play in the snow and decided to make a snowman.

And so it starts

Sibling team work

Jake thinks it looks like I was about to bash Jason’s head in. I assure you, I was not.

Do you want to know what they were aiming at? ME!! Well, they would tell you that they were aiming for my can of soda THAT I WAS HOLDING! Luckily they couldn’t throw very far and had really bad aim.

Our snowman building skills need some work but hey! It’s a good start!

Also, as promised, here is the video of Piper running in the snow. The sound isn’t great, mostly wind blowing but Piper was sure having fun!

The next day, Jason went home and the temperatures rose about 25 degrees and all the snow melted. He arrived just after the first big snow, then it stuck around the whole time he was here, snowing on and off and it was gone as soon as he left! He said he wanted to see snow and Missouri obviously delivered!
